Should you eat fruit before or after a meal? Both ways could be fine, depending on your constitution.
If you have a colder body constitution, I recommend eating fruit after meals. Because rice is neutral in nature, and you eat it while it is warm, right? It has warmth to it. So it can build a warm foundation for your intestines. Then you could eat fruit, which is a bit colder. That way, it is not going to cause coldness in the body and will decrease acid reflux. It is safer for those with colder constitutions to eat it after meals.
For those who suffer constipation and obesity, eat fruit before meals. Drink at least half a cup or one cup of water to wash the fruit down. This can help moisten the stomach and intestines, and help your body absorb nutrients from the fruit.
