Here, I added in 2 different colors to represent yin and yang.
After the Big Bang, the energy extended endlessly. The explosive energy rushed in all directions. As humans, in order to survive, to find water, and to find our home, we developed the concept of direction; that’s the concept of east, west, north and south.
As these 4 directions were defined, the humans discovered, to their surprise, that although we’re all human beings, we’re all the same species, there’s a difference between men and women. With the combination of east and west, integration of directions, difference of genders, and the union of genders, the humans beings and indeed all the beings on Earth are continually self-reproducing, giving birth and perpetuating.
We can still be alive today and continue reproducing, greatly due to the grains. Thus, there’s a saying: “Food is a divinity for the people.”
The light color represents yang, and the dark color yin. The fusion of yin and yang leads to endless reproduction and limitless lives.
Cut a wildflower and dedicate it to motherhood. Cut a piece of a special leaf and dedicate it to fatherhood.
This is how Heaven, Earth, and mankind are done. Thus, the second sand artwork is called “Beauty of Life.”
