As one of the most significant festivals in Buddhism, the Bathing the Buddha Festival is not only a commemoration of the birth of the Buddha but also symbolizes a profound cleansing of inner afflictions. It guides people away from the noise of the external world and back to their inner selves, helping them rediscover the purity, peace, and light that inherently exist within every life.

During the 2026 Bathing the Buddha Festival, Bodhi Meditation Centers around the world hosted gratitude and celebration events. Countless visitors entered the meditation centers to participate in the Bathing the Buddha ceremony, pray for blessings, make light-offerings, and express gratitude for the compassion of the Buddha. Amid laughter and blessings, they spent a warm and hope-filled Buddha Day together.

Grandmaster JinBodhi Visits Taiwan in Person, Offering Compassionate Blessings to Relieve Illness, Misfortune, and Soothe Body and Mind

On May 23rd and 24th, Grandmaster JinBodhi visited the New Taipei and Taipei Meditation Centers in Taiwan to celebrate the Bathing the Buddha Festival with everyone. In addition to the sacred Bathing the Buddha ceremony, the event also featured energy blessings, clothing blessings, lamp-offering prayers, and divination consultations, drawing many people who came to pray for peace, health, and success in their careers.

What made everyone happiest was that the Grandmaster personally offered one-on-one consultations and blessings to the public. In the long line of guests, some came seeking good health, some shared family troubles, and others had come especially to pray for their children. The Grandmaster listened carefully to each visitor and gave each person blessings and compassionate wishes. His fatherly warmth and care left many people smiling with relief as they walked out of the meditation center.

The celebration this year broke away from traditional formats and created a festive atmosphere that beautifully combined movement and stillness. Wind ensemble, erhu, and saxophone performances were captivating and moving; the secondhand market was bustling, and the God of Wealth scattering candy added plenty of laughter. On the other side, the warm "Sea of Five-Color Wish Lanterns" offered a different scene, as many people sincerely wrote down their wishes before the Buddha and turned their blessings for family into little points of light, symbolizing the Buddha's eternal protection over their loved ones.
