Ingredients:
2 red onions (one is enough if it is large)
Directions:
- Peel and clean the onions; cut into small pieces and set aside.
- In a big bowl, place a small bowl upside down; then place onion pieces around the smaller bowl.
- Fill a pot with water, put the bowl with onion in the pot and bring water to a boil on high heat.
- Reduce the heat to medium and continue steaming for 20 minutes, then turn off the heat and continue steaming for 10 minutes.
- Take the onion pieces out and place them in a cheesecloth, then remove the smaller bowl.
- Squeeze the onion juice into the big bowl using the cheesecloth and serve.
