Ingredients:

2 red onions (one is enough if it is large)

Directions:

  1. Peel and clean the onions; cut into small pieces and set aside.
  2. In a big bowl, place a small bowl upside down; then place onion pieces around the smaller bowl.
  3. Fill a pot with water, put the bowl with onion in the pot and bring water to a boil on high heat.
  4. Reduce the heat to medium and continue steaming for 20 minutes, then turn off the heat and continue steaming for 10 minutes.
  5. Take the onion pieces out and place them in a cheesecloth, then remove the smaller bowl.
  6. Squeeze the onion juice into the big bowl using the cheesecloth and serve.
