Ingredients:

  • 3-9 goji berries(3 is safest, not to exceed 9)
  • 2 red dates
  • 3 longans
  • 2 dried chrysanthemums (white Hangzhou chrysanthemum or Flos Chrysanthemi)
  • A pinch of Bodhi Meditation pu-erh tea

Steps:

Wash everything, brew with boiling water, and serve. You may brew with hot water multiple times until the tea loses its potency.

Health Benefits:

This tea replenishes qi and nourishes the heart, relieves fatigue, cleanses the liver, and brightens the eyes; it also helps with blurry vision caused by excessive body heat.

Reminders:

  1. Do not drink this tea unless you are feeling fatigued due to your heart being overworked, as it contains replenishing properties that make it unsuitable to be consumed daily as a health-promoting tea.
  2. Everything should be consumed in moderation. For those who have a regular constitution, drinking this tea once a week is sufficient. Drinking it too often can cause excessive heat in the body, which could lead to dry mouth and constipation.
  3. If your heart feels uncomfortable, you need to determine whether you have a coronary condition or are just fatigued. One way to tell is to look at the color of the nasal bridge. If it is a little pale but your lips are not purple, it means that your condition is not serious, just fatigue. If there are no longans or red dates at home, it is fine to brew American ginseng slices: a piece of ginseng in a cup of boiling water for 2-3 minutes and drink. You can also put a ginseng slice in your mouth without swallowing it, which can quickly relieve fatigue of the heart. However, if your lips have a green or purple tinge, and the nasal bridge appears green, these are signs of coronary heart disease, which is a serious condition that requires immediate medical attention.
