Grandmaster JinBodhi’s YouTube channel now has over 16 million subscribers around the world.

August 3rd marks the anniversary of Grandmaster JinBodhi’s first dharma teaching and is the most important day of celebration for Bodhi Meditation. On this special day, Bodhi Meditation Centers and practitioners around the world hold a variety of celebratory events. Many local governments also recognize the organization’s contributions to their communities and encourage more people to learn the powerful meditation methods.

Since 2014, the City of Milpitas in California—home to the Silicon Valley Bodhi Meditation Center—has officially designated August 3rd as “Bodhi Meditation Day.” This was the first time a local government formally recognized a holiday dedicated to Bodhi Meditation, representing a key milestone in its rapid growth in North America.

As Bodhi Meditation’s first major international center, Vancouver Bodhi Meditation Center has upheld Grandmaster JinBodhi’s compassionate vision since its founding in 2005. The center has actively shared effective, easy-to-practice meditation methods in the city of Richmond and the Greater Vancouver Area, spreading compassion and care to the broader community. Over the years, the center has been repeatedly praised and strongly supported by the Prime Minister of Canada and various levels of government. In recognition of Bodhi Meditation’s compassionate contributions, the governments of British Columbia and the City of Richmond have jointly declared August 3rd “Bodhi Meditation Day” for 10 consecutive years.

August 3, 2025, marks the 34th anniversary of Grandmaster JinBodhi’s first dharma teaching. Both the Vancouver and Toronto Bodhi Meditation Centers received congratulatory letters from the Prime Minister of Canada and various political leaders celebrating the milestone. Meanwhile, the Milpitas city government also issued a congratulatory letter to the Silicon Valley Bodhi Meditation Center, expressing gratitude for the center’s positive impact on the local community.

Under the compassionate guidance of Grandmaster JinBodhi, Bodhi Meditation Centers worldwide will continue to put loving-kindness into action—serving society and benefiting countless people across the globe.
