| Recite Chapter 13 of The Earth Store Bodhisattva Sutra with Grandmaster JinBodhi; testimonials sharing of sponsorship merits

The Buddha said: making offerings to and paying respects to The Earth Store Bodhisattva leads to 28 virtues and merits.

On the last day of The Earth Store Merits Chanting Class, Grandmaster JinBodhi continues to lead a recitation of The Earth Store Bodhisattva Sutra Chapter 13: The Entrustment of People and Gods.

At the request of the Void Space Store Bodhisattva, the Buddha explained The Earth Store Bodhisattva’s deep fate with all sentient beings. People who give, make offerings, and pay respects to The Earth Store Bodhisattva gain 28 kinds of benefits; Devas, Nagas, and Ghost Kings who witness, hear, and worship The Earth Store Bodhisattva can obtain seven special benefits.

In this class, Grandmaster Jin Bodhi shared with the public the many magical testimonies of students from sutra recitation, mantra chanting, and sponsoring The Earth Store Bodhisattva. These stories serve as a reminder of important questions: What is the spirit of Bodhisattvas? Where do we start to help others? How did a monk manage to build a temple without teaching a single Buddhist scripture? Only by learning to communicate with the Buddha by heart, can we truly open the door of compassion and wisdom, and receive the blessings of the Buddha and Bodhisattva’s compassion!
