| Understand morality, refrain from being arrogant, be thankful for what you have
In Chanting Group Practice Part 14, Grandmaster JinBodhi narrated the story of how Qing Dynasty’s general Nian GengYao caused his own death with his arrogance. Grandmaster also told the story about the friendship between the famous premier Guan Zhong and Duke Huan of Qi State, who lived during the Spring and Autumn Period. Through the stories, we learned about morality, we learned to not be arrogant and instead, be thankful and filled with gratitude for what we have. These are the keys for a peaceful, safe and auspicious life filled with long-lasting happiness. Grandmaster JinBodhi also led everyone to chant and performed auspicious energy blessing on all of us.
