Chanting Group Practice Part 25 happened on a date that was close to the start of the seventh lunar month. Through various stories about spirits, we learned of the existence of connections between the living and the departed. Grandmaster JinBodhi encouraged us to pray for our ancestors, parents of our past 7 lives, spirits of babies who had been aborted or passed away at a very young age, karmic creditors and all lives that we have hurt in the past. We pray for them to be transcended from all sufferings and to attain everlasting happiness. The Ullambana Festival Prayer list is now open for registration. We welcome you to offer your prayers with great sincerity to help those who have departed transcend all sufferings.
