In the online broadcast of Ask Away! Part 2, Grandmaster JinBodhi continues to answer online friends’ questions and spoke about the good habits of successful people. Habits such as reading, keeping one’s words, punctuality, responsibility and perseverance. Grandmaster had this message for youths: creativity stems from deprivation and deficiency and is triggered by stress. To achieve our dreams, we need to have the right mentality towards learning, we need to be willing to break our bad habits and increase our sense of responsibility.
To the parents, this is what Grandmaster JinBodhi had to say: parents’ influence on the child is so strong that they are 90% responsible for their child’s character! Parents are either directly or indirectly responsible for their child’s behavior, habits, attitude at work and even their achievements later on in life. Actions speak louder than words – how do parents give their child the right guidance and refrain from being overly accommodating? How can parents prevent their child from being too dependent and provide their child with more personal space to grow and be creative? How can parents encourage their child to be courageous in creating his/her own future?
