What Blessings Does Medicine Buddha Bestow?
According to Buddhist scriptures, during his cultivation, Medicine Buddha made twelve great vows. These vows are closely tied to real-life concerns, such as: health, abundance, disaster relief, longevity, following the right path, and awakening wisdom.
To help everyone understand them better, Grandmaster JinBodhi grouped the Twelve Great Vows into four main categories:
1. Perfect Health and Perfection
If one suffers from illness, birth defects, disabilities, or cognitive impairments…

Those who believe in Medicine Buddha can purify negative karma and attain clarity and inner light. Even those lacking insight can awaken, and act in accordance with their heartfelt wishes. Eventually, one can be reborn in the Eastern Pure Land of Lapis Lazuli and enjoy longevity alongside the universe itself.
