Health Benefits:
This tea cools the liver and relieves symptoms such as mental agitation, thirst, dry mouth, dry eyes, blurry vision, and irritability, which are due to excessive heat in the liver. As well as nourishing, protecting and soothing the liver, this tea cleanses the heart and brightens the eyes.
Reminders:
- Chrysanthemum is cooling in nature and can be reduced or omitted if you are feeling cold in your stomach. Regardless of your physical constitution, you should avoid adding too much chrysanthemum, as doing so may make your body overly sensitive.
- Chrysanthemum with a green center is of top quality, making it more effective in soothing your liver and brightening your eyes.
- Pu-erh tea balances any detox reactions that may occur. It is fermented and can help to nourish the stomach and spleen. Thus, we recommend that people who suffer from excessive burping or bloating drink pu-erh tea to ameliorate these digestive symptoms.
