This is a fun way to tell one’s fortune with Divine lots.
How to Use Grandmaster JinBodhi’s 64 Trigrams
Each card represents a different type of fortune. Here, we have “famous the world over”, “smooth sailing” and “best in everything”. There is no specific way to draw the cards. When they are stacked like a deck of cards, you don’t know which to draw. You can fan them out on a table. I am not very good at cards. Like this. We can draw now.
Now, you need to be sincere. Drawing from the deck is like communicating with me. Be polite. Palms together. Your words, thoughts and body need to be aligned. Close your eyes. Firstly, be respectful in asking for guidance from me, Grandmaster JinBodhi. Spell out your question: e.g., your marriage luck, your studies, job search, etc. Be specific with your question when you ask for my guidance.
Once you have asked in your mind, draw a card. You can draw straightaway or take your time. No pressure. This is a demonstration. If I had asked about my job search and I drew this card, “A withered tree comes to life”, it would be a very good sign for a jobseeker. Soon, you will likely get a new job you really like. More or less like this.
When you are done, slide the card back into the middle of the deck. Then shuffle it to make it random. I am not very good at shuffling. You can shuffle however you want to randomize it. Then put it away nicely.
Usually, it is best to draw a Divine lot or card with a calm body and mind. Be serene, pure and respectful. So, before drawing the card, wash your hands, OK? Respect the process by washing your hands after a meal or if they are dirty. It is a way of showing respect. You should also wipe the table clean as well. If a table is not handy, you can just draw a card from the deck. Before doing so, say your prayers and ask your question. Then, just bite the bullet and draw a card, OK?
Don’t expect a good lot every time, OK? The Law of Nature dictates that good casts a shadow from which illumination arises. For each good, there is a bad. That is common. A good lot shows your good luck right now, but it won’t stay that way forever. Even if things keep improving, you will have ups and downs, same as the stock market. It rises overall but has ups and downs.
When you are unhappy with the card you have drawn, you can’t redraw again and again. It is ineffective then. Only the first card you draw is effective.
