(Hello Master. People say that the diet is one of the causes of gout.) (What kind of diet plan should I follow to avoid gout?)
There are many causes of gout. Firstly, it is cold drinks with ice cubes added. When consumed, the cold energy travels all over our bodies quickly. The seniors will feel it in their joints, hands and legs in just a minute after drinking iced drinks. I will be specific here; iced carbonated drinks are worse.
And then there is seafood. Seafood like crabs and shrimps, when eaten along with lamb, makes it easier for gout symptoms to appear. Usually, you will start feeling the pain from your toes. If you drink iced beer while eating seafood and lamb, the condition will be worse.
To deal with that, stop eating the food I have mentioned. Then, we need to counter the cold energy by consuming more food with “heat”. You can add some ginger to your food. For example, add some ginger slices in your stir-fry veggie, or some ginger and pepper powder in your soups. This is how you add more heat to food cold in nature. When your food is no longer cold in nature, the symptoms of gout will disappear.
