I have been asked about this a lot; it has been puzzling me for more than a decade. People are not happy with certain parts of their appearance, so they think of plastic surgery. One may feel that their look doesn’t show good fortune. Say, they want a rounder, fuller chin. So, through plastic surgery, they get their chin built up.
We will ignore what the filler is. So, the surgery was a success, and the patient got his “blessed” look. The question is: Is it true blessing? It does help a little. That is what I think. Think of it as some feng shui adjustments. It helps a little, but doesn’t totally transform your fate.
(Plastic surgery may slightly improve one’s fate, but surgery cannot fundamentally transform destiny.)
How do you transform your fate totally? Do more good deeds and accumulate more merits. Here is an example. Say, you are born with a cursed look that harms your partner. To change this, you undergo plastic surgery and get yourself a new look. Nobody will know unless you tell them. Does that mean you will no longer harm your partner? The harming will continue.
First of all, there is a reason behind your partner-harming look. For example, a heart attack. When it happens, your lips and face turn bluish, right? And your eyes even bulge outward. Lips turning blue is a signal of insufficient oxygen in the blood. Try to draw inference from this. It applies to your fate too. It is like using lipstick to cover up your blue lips. Say, a pink lipstick. It is a good coverup. But does that prevent a heart attack from happening? No, because the real cause is the lack of oxygen in your blood.
Now, back to making your looks more “blessed”. If a mark on your face means that a disaster is bound to happen, removing the mark doesn’t prevent it from happening. You are only concealing the mark of the disaster. The disaster will still befall you.
(Plastic surgery can only conceal the signs of calamities but can’t prevent calamities from happening.)
Feng shui adjustments or plastic surgeries are useless without the right state of mind and broadmindedness for your blessings. Before your mental state reaches that higher level, you have no experience with the feeling of having that higher spiritual level. Your mindset is the same as before. You would just rely on feng shui adjustments and plastic surgeries to help you. These won’t transform your fate.
This is how to do it: Do more good deeds, accumulate more merits and practice self-cultivation. These transform your fate naturally. I have just told you how to do it. Practice kindness in your actions, thoughts and words. Don’t take advantage of others. Don’t be greedy; don’t succumb to your lust. Don’t lie, cheat and steal. Respect and be filial to your parents. These will transform your fate; they are more powerful than feng shui adjustments and plastic surgeries. They transform your fate fundamentally.
(Do good deeds, accumulate merits and virtues, and self-cultivate diligently; that is the fundamental way to transform fate.
