Benefits:

Aids sleep, calms mind and improves complexion

Reminders:

  1. We recommend using a clay pot to boil and simmer this tea.
  2. This recipe makes enough tea for one person for a day’s consumption. Try not to finish everything at once. Start drinking it at noon and continue to sip it in divided doses throughout the day to aid absorption.
  3. For those who have cold hands and feet and a cold constitution, they may add 2 red dates to the tea. (Toast the dates until the skin is slightly burnt before adding them; doing so will help nourish the spleen and stomach.)
  4. This tea is safe and beneficial for most people. However, since everyone has a unique constitution, if you are on medication or have other health issues, please consult your physician before consuming.
