Reminders:
- We recommend using a clay pot to boil and simmer this tea.
- This recipe makes enough tea for one person for a day’s consumption. Try not to finish everything at once. Start drinking it at noon and continue to sip it in divided doses throughout the day to aid absorption.
- For those who have cold hands and feet and a cold constitution, they may add 2 red dates to the tea. (Toast the dates until the skin is slightly burnt before adding them; doing so will help nourish the spleen and stomach.)
- This tea is safe and beneficial for most people. However, since everyone has a unique constitution, if you are on medication or have other health issues, please consult your physician before consuming.
