In 2022, there were frequent natural disasters, abnormal climate conditions, major earthquakes, large-scale wildfires, extreme droughts and floods… People around the world were often stressed, anxious, panicked, and fearful.
Grandmaster JinBodhi was aware of the sufferings of everyone. In September, he held a series of blessing events in Taiwan. These events were broadcasted online worldwide, aiming to eliminate the pain, calm the minds of the people, and also to pray for worldwide peace and auspiciousness.
On September 18, there were no empty seats at the event. Fellow practitioners from all over Taiwan were fortunate enough to receive blessings from Grandmaster. Countless online viewers from around the world watched the live stream while sitting in front of the screen waiting for the blessings without the restrictions of time and space.
Blessings transcend time and space, easing troubles and cultivating non-attachment
In the solemn Bodhi Meditation Center, Grandmaster JinBodhi gave a short lecture, revealing that since all sentient beings eat different crops and grains, it is inevitable to get illnesses, and many diseases come from fear, obstacles, and paranoia. After the lecture, Grandmaster led everyone to chant for a short while and gave them blessings with great dharma power.
Through the soothing sound of singing bowls, Grandmaster bestowed blessings and guided the audience to visualize: “Return to a time 800 years ago, in an era before your own birth, when you did not exist, and your illness didn’t exist either. Even joy, anger, sorrow, and happiness, as well as all the gains and losses, troubles, and feelings didn’t exist.” This practice enabled the audience to learn to detach from afflictions and illnesses through the visualization of emptiness, allowing suffering to dissipate in an instant.
Under Grandmaster’s guidance, people visualized themselves in the pure and untainted Eastern Lazuli Pure Land. In that world, there is no distinction, even for love. Everyone is like siblings from a multiple birth. They are all families and loved ones.
In the visualization, many people deeply experienced the beauty of “loving others as oneself” for the first time. They felt that they were no longer related to this present material world. As if love and hate were the wind and rain of yesterday, gone and vanished. There was no good or bad, allowing one to simply smile and have pure joy without attachment or contamination. When love and compassion arose, they let go of all troubles and sorrows. What other ailments and afflictions could not be resolved? That was the miraculous blessing of Grandmaster!

It is easy to get sick but hard to get rid of it. However, under the blessing of Grandmaster JinBodhi, in just one hour, some fellow practitioners’ shoulder pain, backache, and leg pain disappeared, and some saw decades of suffering disappear without a trace.
