Our ancestors never thought about being a vegan versus eating meat. Thus, do we have bad karma?

Effects of Killing

Our ancestors survived by killing animals for food. It was impossible for them not to kill. In ancient times, there were no social systems. Most families lived in forests or on the mountains. They survived on all kinds of food. Food is a necessity. Our ancestors never thought about being a vegan versus eating meat. Thus, do we have bad karma?

More killings meant more suffering for the killer and his descendants. Within a community, the peaceful and better-tempered lived longer. They also passed down their good traits to their descendants. Their descendants suffer less.

Our ancestors engaged in all kinds of killings. This caused us to inherit the bad karma. Thus, many people contract different kinds of illnesses. Some are born with weak legs, while some are mentally challenged. The bad karma has been imprinted in our DNA. The different illnesses are related to inherited DNA from our ancestors. Genetic diseases can affect the functions of our brain, bones, heart, liver, and even our facial features.

(In Malaysia, there was a woman who resembled a pangolin. Her story was reported in 1982. Her name was Zhang Si Mei. She was hidden at home for 32 years. She suffered from severely cracked skin. Her skin had no pores, and she could not perspire. Her fingers were tightly clenched, as if holding a pen.)

While pregnant with her, her mother hurt a pangolin while trying to capture it. A few months later, the baby was delivered. This baby had

pangolin-like features. The baby was Zhang Si Mei. Her features differed significantly from common human features. So I think that killing is bad. Killing brings about an effect.

Look back on history: Every 10 years, there are new kinds of contagious diseases. In olden times when medicine was not advanced, contagious diseases wiped out large groups of humans. Diseases caused more death than wars. In olden times, contagious diseases, transmitted between humans, animals and plants through air or water, wiped out many lives. Due to medical advancements, most diseases can be controlled now. However, viruses these days mutate. An example is the SARS outbreak that happened in 2003. Viruses mutate faster than Apple releases new iPhones. Mutation is always happening. This causes serious damage to the human race.

Other phenomena, influenced by cause and effect, could be a result of hitting mosquitoes, or eating certain types of food. It was said that SARS was caused by eating a certain kind of animal. This animal lives in the forest but was captured and eaten by people. Some people eat whatever they can find. That’s how illnesses come about. I do not want to scare you with my talk on cause and effect. But if you become a vegan and chant for the good of your children, it is a good sign. I hope you will use logic to see through things clearly.

Now we understand the reasons. Please remember to do more good deeds. Be happy to do more good deeds. Be sincere, not fake. Avoid all bad behaviors.
