Ingredients:

  • Ginger – 6 slices
  • Green onion (white end) – 2 stalks
  • Sichuan peppercorn – A small handful
  • Salt – 30g

Steps:

  1. Fill a pot a little over halfway with water. Slice ginger and add to the pot along with green onions, Sichuan peppercorns and salt.
  2. Bring to a boil and let it boil for 10 minutes. Turn off the heat.
  3. Pour the mixture into a foot-soak bucket, add cold water to reach a safe, comfortable temperature (about 50-60 degrees Celsius). Soak your feet in the mixture for 30 minutes.
  4. Wipe feet dry and apply a thin layer of Vaseline to prevent the skin from cracking, seal in moisture and keep the area clean.

Suitable for:

Those who wish to strengthen the body and get rid of the following conditions:

  • Athlete’s foot, foot rash, peeling skin, foot pain, corns and warts, etc.
  • Muscle cramps, leg and back pain, cold symptoms
  • Insomnia, hair loss
  • Menstrual pain, irregular menstruation
  • Abnormal sweating and symptoms of suboptimal health

Reminders:

  1. We recommend that you soak your feet before sleep and go to bed immediately afterward. Do not go out and walk after soaking. Practicing Energy Bagua after soaking your feet could lead to foot pain.
  2. You may soak your feet once a day if you do not have specific health problems. Soaking your feet at least 5 times a week can improve the health of your legs and feet.
  3. We recommend using a foot-soak bucket so that you can soak your calves too. Also, the foot soak won’t cool down too quickly. Both plastic and wooden buckets are fine as long as they are at least 30 cm tall. The bottom should be wide enough to let your feet stretch out comfortably.
  4. If there are calluses or areas of hard skin on your feet, you can add 500 ml of white vinegar to the foot soak, or at least 100 ml if you want to be frugal.
